Due to recent events AMVS wants to refer to the obligatory upload of the Austrian PZN within the EMVO Master Data as a “national code” (NHRN) for all medicinal products in the Austrian system! This requirement can be found in the EMVO Master Data Guide as well as the AMVO Coding rules.
Please consider that the Austrian PZN has 7 digits including a check digit. This check digit is different to the check digit of the NTIN in most cases!
We kindly ask all pharmaceutical companies to check Master Data and if necessary amend them immediately.
