While counterfeit medicines are increasingly becoming a global health problem, the European pharmaceutical industry has created a strong shield against counterfeiting with the digital security system for prescription medicines. A digital road show by the Austrian system operator AMVS (Austrian Medicines Verification System) provided up-to-date insights into the ongoing operation.
